November is National Memoir Writing Month and the perfect time to begin writing your memoir! Join Perrot Memorial Library for a Memoir Writing Workshop with Laura Woodward Cavers on Saturday, November 7th from 10 am-12 pm in the Program Room of the Radcliffe Children’s Library.
Writing personal or familial truths can be emotional and prompts the “editor” in one’s head to stop the writing project entirely. This workshop will teach easy strategies to help one generate their writing into workable bits that are not so overwhelming. At the end of this workshop, participants will walk away with a great beginning to their memoir project.
Laura Woodward Cavers has over ten years’ experience teaching writing at Darien and New Canaan Libraries. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Manhattanville College.
