The Garden Club of Old Greenwich and the Perrot Memorial Library are thrilled to welcome Garden Designer Renée Marsh, via Zoom, for “No Space? No Problem! Veggies & Herbs for Containers,” on Wednesday, April 22, at 7 pm.
We are pleased to welcome Eileen Flood O’Connor, author of “Eating Pizza Backwards, and Other Adventures,” on Sunday, April 26, at 3 pm. Ms. Flood O’Connor will be interviewed by Ms. Afton Fraser. The discussion will take place in our Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library, Perrot Memorial Library.
Join Greenwich Townscape, a giant community photo mural project celebrating America’s 250th. Led by artist Rashmi Talpade, this hands-on initiative invites neighbors of all ages to help create a one-of-a-kind collage using photo prints inspired by the architecture, history, and spirit of our town. Come to cut and glue photos at one collage session – or come to them all! This session will be held in the Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library, on Monday, April 27, 1-2:30 pm.
Join our mystery book group discussion of Vera Wong’s Guide to Snooping (on a Dead Man), by Jesse Q. Sutanto, on Monday, April 27, at 7 pm, in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
The Perrot Memorial Library is thrilled to present “Africa Is Me! An Interactive African Drum & Dance Workshop,” given by Keepers of the Culture Performing Arts Company. The workshop will take place on Sunday, May 3, from 2-3 pm on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library. Adults and families with school-age children are invited to attend.
On the first Monday of each month, a nurse from Greenwich Hospital will be here at Perrot Library from 10 to 11 am to take free blood pressure screenings. The screenings will take place in the Rand Room, Waid Building. Because of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no screenings in September. The next screenings are scheduled for Monday, May 4th.
Mahjong instructor Rhonda Greif is back for a spring series of classes. Join our 3-part Learn to Play Mahjong Classes for Adults on Wednesdays, May 6, 13, and 20, from 1 to 3 pm, in the Youth Services Program Room of the Radcliffe Children’s Library.
Calling knitters experienced and new to the craft! Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our evening knitting group, “Purls of Wisdom.” Our next session will be held on Tuesday, May 12th, at 6 pm in our Rand Room, Waid Building, Perrot Memorial Library. Note: This will be the last session until September.
We have an exciting evening planned for you on Wednesday, May 13th! The Mystery Players will present The Many Murders of Agatha Crusty. The program will run from 7 to 8 pm and will be performed on the Green (the green carpeted area) in our Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building.
