Join us on Tuesday, January 27, at 10 am outside the main entrance to the Library for Perrot Walks. We’ll walk at a leisurely pace and enjoy conversation and the beauty of Binney Park. In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be cancelled.
Welcome all knitters. If you’re looking for a place to knit alongside other knitters, please join us at 10 am on Thursday, January 29th. We’ll meet in the Rand Room (our newspaper reading room) for an hour of knitting and conversation. Registration is not required. This is a drop-in program.
In honor of Black History Month, the Perrot Memorial Library is thrilled to present “Africa Is Me! An Interactive African Drum & Dance Workshop,” given by Keepers of the Culture Performing Arts Company. The workshop will take place on Sunday, February 1, from 2-3 pm on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library. Adults and families with school-age children are invited to attend.
Donna Bunte of Donna Bunte Whole Health will teach a qigong class at Perrot Library on Monday, February 2nd, from 9:15 to 10:15 am in the Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library.
On the first Monday of each month, a nurse from Greenwich Hospital will be here at Perrot Library from 10 to 11 am to take free blood pressure screenings. The screenings will take place in the Rand Room, Waid Building. Because of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no screenings in September. The next screenings are scheduled for Monday, February 2nd.
The Environmental Book Group will meet on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, for a discussion of The Comfort of Crows, by Margaret Renkl. Our discussion will be facilitated by Rebecca Poirier, environmental analyst, Conservation Department, Town of Greenwich. This program is co-sponsored by Perrot Memorial Library and the Conservation Commission.
The Garden Club of Old Greenwich and the Perrot Memorial Library are thrilled to welcome back Photographer, Journalist, and Author Caryn B. Davis for a Zoom Presentation on Historic Gardens of Greenwich on Wednesday, February 4, at 7 pm.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with our free film screening of “Undine” on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 2 to 4 pm in our Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library. (Snow Date: Saturday, February 14) Joe Sgammato, film professor at SUNY Westchester Community College, will introduce the film.
Calling knitters experienced and new to the craft! Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our evening knitting group, “Purls of Wisdom.” Our next session will be held on Tuesday, February 10, at 6 pm in our Rand Room, Waid Building, Perrot Memorial Library.

Learn from a wills and trusts attorney, senior living advisor, financial and long-term care advisor, and a home care expert as they share clear guidance on legal planning, care options, and financial strategies. The program will take place in our Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library.
Perrot Memorial Library and the Greenwich Conservation Commission invite you to a two-part book discussion of “The Ministry for the Future,” by Kim Stanley Robinson, led by Author and Greenwich Pen Woman Heidi Matonis. Part one of the discussion will take place on Monday, March 2, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library, Perrot Memorial Library. Part two will take place on Monday, April 20, at 7 pm, also in the Program Room. This two-part discussion is sponsored by the Perrot Library’s Environmental Book Group.
