Sourdough Virtual Workshop

Join us on Tuesday, April 23, from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm on Zoom for a virtual hands-on workshop where you’ll learn everything from maintaining a starter to making dough and baking perfect loaves. Cookbook Author Terry Walters will be our instructor. Once you’ve registered for this workshop, you can pick up a sourdough starter and instructions to reconstitute it at the Library’s Circulation Desk. The starter will take one week to reconstitute. A list of ingredients will be provided prior to class with prep instructions. In class, we’ll make dough, learn how to form and bake your loaves, feed and maintain your starter, and learn all the tools and skills you’ll need to start your own artisan bread-making practice.

For more information on Ms. Walters, visit her web site.

Please register for this free Zoom workshop. Registration is limited to the first 20 registrants. Registration deadline: April 15. If we do not have a minimum of 10 registrants by April 15th, the class will be cancelled.
