GPW/PML Book Discussion of “Horse,” by Geraldine Brooks

Greenwich Pen Women and Perrot Memorial Library continue their collaboration with a discussion of Horse, the captivating 2022 novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Geraldine Brooks. Greenwich Pen Women Letters member Diane Morello will moderate the discussion on Monday, February 12 — free and open to all — in Perrot’s Rand Room at 7 pm. Copies of the book are available for purchase from Athena Books.

Here’s the gist: A discarded painting, a skeleton in an attic, and the greatest racehorse in American history — from those strands, Brooks weaves a sweeping story of spirit, obsession, race and injustice through American history. Borrow Horse today and reserve your spot on the Perrot website.
