[Fiction] The author of this delightful book is known for her previous best sellers– The Red Tent and Day After Night, among others. Without retelling this story, it begins with an 85-year-old grandmother talking to her 22-year-old granddaughter, answering the question, “How did you become the woman you are today?” The author has such a keen eye for historical detail and an ear for voices, both young and old. This is a great choice for book groups.
