Perrot Memorial Library is proud to present an afternoon of storytelling in memory of our beloved Children’s Librarians, Kate McClelland (“Mrs. Mac”) and Kathy Krasniewicz (“Mrs. K”). Those who knew Kate and Kathy know how much storytelling was a part of their lives and how they used it to enchant and educate the youth of our community.
We are delighted that storyteller Tim Lowry will be joining us for this special family event, which will be held in Perrot’s Children’s Wing at 2 PM on Sunday, November 17th, 2019. No tickets are required, but seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is recommended for families with children ages 5 and up.
Not unlike Mr. Toad’s wild ride from the classic Wind in the Willows, storyteller Tim Lowry will take you on a road trip adventure in an exciting machine– his grandfather’s Model T Ford, to be exact. Dressed in a duster and goggles, Tim will invite you aboard the Tin Lizzie to hear stories from across the country. Folk tales, tall tales, trickster tales, and spook stories are all clearly marked on the map for a grand tour of these United States.
