Perrot Memorial Library is proud to present an afternoon of storytelling in memory of our beloved Children’s Librarians, Kate McClelland (“Mrs. Mac”) and Kathy Krasniewicz (“Mrs. K”). Those who knew Kate and Kathy know how much storytelling was a part of their lives and how they used it to enchant and educate the youth of our community.
We are delighted that storyteller and musician Bill Harley will be joining us for this special annual family event, which will be held in Perrot’s Children’s Wing on Sunday, November 5th, 2017, at 2 PM.
A two-time Grammy award-winning artist, recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the RI Council for the Humanities and an NPR commentator, Bill’s songs and stories paint a vibrant and hilarious picture of growing up, schooling and family life. Bill’s work spans the generation gap, reminds us of our common humanity, and challenges us to be our best selves.
This free family event is recommended for families with children ages 5 and up. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
