Transitioning Later in Life: A Book Signing and Discussion

In honor of June Is Pride Month, we are pleased to present a book discussion and signing of Transitioning Later in Life: A Personal Guide, by Jillian Celentano, on Wednesday, June 21, at 7 pm. The program will take place in the Youth Services Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library, Perrot Memorial Library.

Jillian is a transgender woman who began her transition in 2016 at the age of 55. She recently received her BA  in psychology and a master’s in social work at age 61. She is an advocate for the trans community and has organized support groups for transgender/gender diverse children and young adults. In addition to her book, Jillian co-authored two published transgender studies at Yale University. She is a community liaison for the Yale Gender Program and is also working at a private practice as a therapist and educator for the transgender/gender diverse community.
