To get you into the holiday spirit, we’ve invited the New York Holiday Singers to perform a special holiday concert: “Sounds of the Season: A Hanukkah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa Holiday Concert.” Join us on Monday, December 4, at 7 pm in the Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library, Perrot Memorial Library.
The New York Holiday Singers are NYC’s most in-demand contemporary carolers, seen singing all-new versions of holiday favorites on Good Morning America, CBS Sunday Morning, Fox 5 NY, NBC New York, and at Loews Regency New York, Bryant Park, Hermés, Dolce and Gabbana, Godiva, and hundreds more private and public events throughout the tri-state area. The Singers were formed in 2009 by Greg Kefalas and Jen Arvay Kefalas, the husband-and-wife team behind New York Holiday Singers, Inc. And, not to brag, but thanks to the hard work of dozens of Singers over the years, we’ve done nothing but grow since.
To reach their goals, the Singers hold auditions in the summertime and begin rehearsing in late summer, working every week until Thanksgiving to master their massive and challenging songbook. It’s a truly different approach to holiday entertainment and a lot of work, but it all comes together in the most fun and beautiful holiday vocal entertainment in New York City!
