Join us for the Mary Radcliffe Memorial Concert, “Stories of Mystery & Magic,” a Greenwich Symphony Orchestra Storytime Quartet Concert for adults and children in kindergarten through 3rd grade on Sunday, March 3, at 2 pm in the Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library, Perrot Memorial Library. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Storytime Quartet programs blend children’s fairy tales together with classical string quartet music, performed by members of the Greenwich Symphony. Narrated by Miss Royer Bockus, each story is accompanied with the famous music of classical composers to create an exciting storytelling experience for kindergarten through 3rd grade.
During each program, the performers engage with the audience, inviting them to ask questions and recognize thematic materials and story plots. The presentation includes colorful, large-screen illustrations for each story, and the string quartet’s instruments are explored in a fun Q&A segment. The performance runs for 50 minutes.
Please register for this free concert.
