Join Perrot Library in welcoming New York Times-bestselling author Allison pataki for a discussion of her newly-published memoir, Beauty in the Broken Places. The book describes the harrowing year after Pataki’s husband suffered a debilitating stroke at age 30, and follows his difficult road to recovery. Described as a “manifesto for living,” the book is an uplifting story about the power of faith and resilience. Pataki is the author of Sisi, The Traitor’s Wife, and The Accidental Empress, and is the daughter of former New York State governor George E. Pataki.
