Upcoming Event: Learning to Look® — Family Art Program on Georgia O’Keeffe, Sunday, October 14th, 2018, at 2:00 PM, Radcliffe Children’s Wing
Perrot Library welcomes back Alice Scovell, a lecturer with the Learning to Look® program, for an afternoon of art, inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe and the New York Botanical Garden exhibit Georgia O’Keeffe: Visions of Hawaii on view until October 28. The artist will come alive as Ms. Scovell discusses how the artist’s Hawaiian florals relate to her better known work. This gathering is suitable for ages 6 to 96. Children will be invited to create their own O’Keeffe-inspired botanical art after the discussion.
