The Yale Peabody Museum spans 4 billion years of Earth history. Exhibits range from prehistoric mammals and reptiles to rare gems and minerals, from Egyptian mummies to modern day birds. The world’s largest and most famous dinosaur painting, Rudolph Zallinger’s The Age of Reptiles, dominates the Great Hall. The Discovery Room lets kids experience the natural world firsthand.
