On the first Monday of each month, a nurse from Greenwich Hospital will be here at Perrot Library from 10 to 11 am to take free blood pressure screenings. The screenings will take place in the Rand Room, Waid Building. Because of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no screenings in September. The next screenings are scheduled for Monday, November 3rd.

Perrot Memorial Library and the Conservation Commission invite you to The Environmental Book Group discussion of “Waste Wars,” by Alexander Clapp, on Monday, November 3, at 7 pm, Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.

Calling all artists! Hazel Jarvis returns to Perrot Memorial Library on Wednesday, November 5, 1-3 pm, for a watercolor workshop, entitled “Winter Landscapes.” The workshop will be held in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Library. Class size is limited to 14. All materials will be provided. (Note: This class will also take place on Wednesday, October 29, 1-3 pm.)

Welcome all knitters. If you’re looking for a place to knit alongside other knitters, please join us at 10 am on Thursday, November 6th. We’ll meet in the Rand Room (our newspaper reading room) for an hour of knitting and conversation. Registration is not required. This is a drop-in program.

Our 3-part fall Mahjong class will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 19, and December 3rd. (Note: No class the week of Thanksgiving.) Rhonda Greif will return as our instructor, and the classes will take place in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.

Please join us for an a cappella concert featuring the musical talents of The Yale Alley Cats on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 2 pm, on “the Green” (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.

Join us on Tuesday, November 4th, at 9:30 am at the second concession stand at Tod’s Point for Perrot Walks. We will walk at a leisurely pace and enjoy conversation and the beauty of the Point. All fitness levels are welcome.

Calling knitters experienced and new to the craft! Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our evening knitting group, “Purls of Wisdom.” Our next session will be held on Tuesday, November 18, at 6 pm in our Rand Room, Waid Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
