Welcome all knitters. If you’re looking for a place to knit alongside other knitters, please join us at 10 am on Thursday, October 9th. We’ll meet in the Rand Room (our newspaper reading room) for an hour of knitting and conversation. Registration is not required. This is a drop-in program.
Join us on Tuesday, October 14th, at 10 am outside the main entrance to the Library for Perrot Walks. We will walk at a leisurely pace and enjoy conversation and the beauty of Binney Park. All fitness levels are welcome.
Calling knitters experienced and new to the craft! Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our evening knitting group, “Purls of Wisdom.” Our next session will be held on Tuesday, October 14, at 6 pm in our Rand Room, Waid Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
On Wednesday, October 15, from 1-3 pm, Artist and Teacher Mary Himes will offer a special art workshop, “The Joy of Botanical Printmaking.” The workshop will be held in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. (The workshop will also be offered on Wednesday, October 8, 1-3 pm.)
Join Old Greenwich resident Neil Vigdor of The New York Times for a discussion and Q&A about his photography craft, the demands of covering breaking news, and his journalism career, one deeply rooted in Greenwich. How did he get the shot? Come find out on Wednesday, October 15, at 7:00 pm in the Perrot Memorial Library Program Room. His photography will be on display in the Library throughout the month of October.
Donna Bunte of Donna Bunte Whole Health will teach a qigong class at Perrot Library on Monday, October 20th, from 9:15 to 10:15 am in the Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library.

A follow-up and natural companion to her bestselling book Gâteau, which celebrated the casual cakes Parisians bake
On Wednesday evening, October 22nd, at 7 pm, Perrot Memorial Library will rock with the music of Carole King, performed by Connecticut State Troubadour Kala Farnham.
