Join Laura DeLongis Barnes for a stimulating yoga class on Saturday morning, November 16, from 9:30-10:30 am in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. Participants should dress appropriately, bring their own yoga mat, and keep their footwear inside the Program Room during the class. Class size is limited to 15; there is a waiting list.
Join us on Tuesday, November 19, at 9:30 am at the concession stand at Tod’s Point. All fitness levels are welcome. We will walk at a leisurely pace and enjoy the natural beauty of the beach and park at Tod’s Point.
Perrot Memorial Library and the Greenwich Conservation Commission invite you to our co-sponsored environmental book discussion on Wednesday, November 20, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Library. Our November Pick is Our Little Farm, by Peter Wohlleben.
Ring in the holidays with “Sounds of the Season: A Hannukah, Christmas, and Kwanzaa Holiday Concert,” featuring the New York Holiday Singers! The concert will take place on Monday, December 2, at 7 pm, “on the green” (the center, carpeted area) of our Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
We have a special event coming in December! Join us for a live reading of Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol, read by Greg Porretta, on Sunday, December 8, at 2 pm on the “green” (the green carpeted area in our Youth Services Department), Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. This event is cosponsored by Perrot Library and the Westport Museum for History & Culture.
Calling knitters experienced and new to the craft! Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our evening knitting group, “Purls of Wisdom.” Our next session will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, at 6 pm in our Rand Room, Waid Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
Please join us on Wednesday, November 13, at 7 pm for a concert by The Yale Alley Cats, an a cappella group. The concert will be held on the “green” (the green carpeted center of our Youth Services Department), Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
On the first Monday of each month, a nurse from Greenwich Hospital will be here at Perrot Library from 10 to 11 am to take free blood pressure screenings. The screenings will take place in the Rand Room, Waid Building, not the Radcliffe Children’s Library. The next screenings are scheduled for Monday, November 4th.
Donna Bunte of Donna Bunte Whole Health will teach a qigong class at Perrot Library on Monday, November 4th, from 9:15 to 10:15 am in the Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library.
