On the first Monday of each month, a nurse from Greenwich Hospital will be here at Perrot Library from 10 to 11 am to take free blood pressure screenings. The screenings will take place in the Rand Room, Waid Building, not the Radcliffe Children’s Library. The next screenings are scheduled for Monday, February 3rd.
We invite you to join us on Saturday, February 8, from 2 to 4 pm in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, for a screening of “Bob Marley: One Love,” with an introduction by Film Professor Joe Sgammato. The movie is rated PG-13 and runs for 107 minutes. Refreshments will be served.
Calling knitters experienced and new to the craft! Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our evening knitting group, “Purls of Wisdom.” Our next session will be held on Tuesday, February 11, at 6 pm in our Rand Room, Waid Building, Perrot Memorial Library.

Petrino, professor of English and director of Liberal Studies, Bellarmine College at Fairfield University, Fairfield, Conn., on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 7 pm, for “Percival Everett’s James and Mark Twain’s ‘Jim’: Reimagining and Subverting Mark Twain’s Masterpiece.” The program will take place in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.

On Friday, January 10, 2025, Perrot Library will host an informative lunchtime panel discussion, “How to Help Your Aging Parents.” The program will run from 12 noon to 2 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Library, Perrot Memorial Library.
On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Life Coach Justin Lyons will present “Start the New Year Off Right with SMART Goal Setting,” at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
Join Laura DeLongis Barnes for a stimulating yoga class on Saturday morning, December 21st, from 9:30-10:30 am in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial
Library. Participants should dress appropriately, bring their own yoga mat, and keep their footwear inside the Program Room during the class. Class size is limited to 15; there is a waiting list. NOTE: This is the last scheduled class. The Library’s Board is reviewing our adult programs. We hope to offer more classes in 2025.

Join us for a live reading of Charles Dickens’s classic, A Christmas Carol, read by Greg Porretta, on Sunday, December 8, at 2 pm on the “green” (the green carpeted area in our Youth Services Department), Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. This event is co-sponsored by Perrot Library and the Westport Museum for History & Culture.
