Welcome all knitters! Our popular weekly Open Knitting program has moved to a new day! Beginning February 3rd, we’ll meet from 1 to 3 pm on Tuesdays in the Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building. Our next meeting is Tuesday, February 24th. All are welcome.
Join registered nurse Marybeth Vergas, RN, for an informative talk on blood pressure, what the numbers mean, why they matter, and how to manage and prevent high blood pressure through everyday habits on Wednesday, February 25, at 7 pm in our Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building. The lecture will conclude with complimentary blood pressure screenings for attendees.
On the first Monday of each month, a nurse from Greenwich Hospital will be here at Perrot Library from 10 to 11 am to take free blood pressure screenings. The screenings will take place in the Rand Room, Waid Building. Because of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no screenings in September. The next screenings are scheduled for Monday, March 2nd.
