Classical guitarist Dan Garcia is back for another wonderful evening of Spanish and Latin American music on Wednesday, September 17, at 7 pm, on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. The concert is a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The September meeting of Perrot P.I.s, our drop-in mystery discussion group, will take place on Thursday, September 11th, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. We’ll discuss “The Ice Princess,” by Camilla Lackberg. All are invited to attend.
Come support our local Greenwich authors on Saturday, September 20, from 11 am to 1 pm on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. This is a drop-in program and a chance for our community to support its many writers. We’ve invited children’s, young adult, and adult authors who will be on hand to sign and sell copies of their latest book.
Author Marsha Temlock will be here on Monday, September 15, at 7 pm, to discuss her latest book, Tuesday’s Mah Jongg Is More Than a Game. The discussion and book signing will take place in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
On the first Monday of each month, a nurse from Greenwich Hospital will be here at Perrot Library from 10 to 11 am to take free blood pressure screenings. The screenings will take place in the Rand Room, Waid Building. Because of the Labor Day holiday, there will be no screenings in September. The next screenings are scheduled for Monday, October 6th.
Donna Bunte of Donna Bunte Whole Health will teach a qigong class at Perrot Library on Monday, August 18, from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library.
Pack your picnic and grab your blankets and chairs! Our second movie of summer 2025 will be Captain America: Brave New World, rated PG-13, running 118 minutes. The movie will be shown on Saturday, August 16, at 8:30 pm, Binney Park, Old Greenwich. Free admission.
