Yoga on the Patio

Join Sarah McCarty, RYT200 and certified reiki practitioner, on Sundays July 23 and 30, and August 6 and 13, from 9:00 am to 10:15 am for an open-air yoga class that will encourage you to connect with yourself and totally engage with your body. Emphasis will be on clear healthy alignment in yoga poses as well as learning breath awareness and simple meditation techniques. There are no prerequisites (You don’t need to touch your toes!). The class is designed for every body and all levels to enjoy the stress relieving benefits of being outdoors and the strength-building benefits of yoga.
This series of classes is part of our Summer Reading 2023 program whose theme is “Find Your Voice.” Classes will take place on the Library patio just outside our Youth Services Department. In case of inclement weather or extreme heat, the classes will be held in our Youth Services Program Room. Please register for this free event.
