Welcome all knitters. If you’re looking for a place to knit alongside other knitters, please join us at 10 am on Thursday, August 21st. We’ll meet in the Rand Room (our newspaper reading room) for an hour of knitting and conversation. Registration is not required. This is a drop-in program.
Donna Bunte of Donna Bunte Whole Health will teach a qigong class at Perrot Library on Monday, August 25, from 9:30 to 10:30 am in the Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library.
Join us on Tuesday, August 26, at 9:30 am at the second concession stand at Tod’s Point for Perrot Walks. We will walk at a leisurely pace and enjoy conversation and the beauty of the Point. All fitness levels are welcome.
In honor of Hunger Action Month in September, Perrot Memorial Library is partnering with Neighbor to Neighbor for a month-long food collection. Collection containers will be located near the Circulation Desk in the Main Building and near the Youth Services Desk in the Radcliffe Building.

Calling knitters experienced and new to the craft! Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our evening knitting group, “Purls of Wisdom.” Our next session will be held on Tuesday, September 9, at 6 pm in our Rand Room, Waid Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
Join us on Wednesday, September 10, at 7 pm for a book discussion of The Broken King: A Memoir, with Author and Associate Professor at Hunter College Michael Thomas.
Classical guitarist Dan Garcia is back for another wonderful evening of Spanish and Latin American music on Wednesday, September 17, at 7 pm, on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. The concert is a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The September meeting of Perrot P.I.s, our drop-in mystery discussion group, will take place on Thursday, September 11th, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. We’ll discuss “The Ice Princess,” by Camilla Lackberg. All are invited to attend.
Come support our local Greenwich authors on Saturday, September 20, from 11 am to 1 pm on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. This is a drop-in program and a chance for our community to support its many writers. We’ve invited children’s, young adult, and adult authors who will be on hand to sign and sell copies of their latest book.
Author Marsha Temlock will be here on Monday, September 15, at 7 pm, to discuss her latest book, Tuesday’s Mah Jongg Is More Than a Game. The discussion and book signing will take place in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
