Blood Pressure 101: Know Your Numbers!

Join registered nurse Marybeth Vergas, RN, for an informative talk on blood pressure, what the numbers mean, why they matter, and how to manage and prevent high blood pressure through everyday habits on Wednesday, February 25, at 7 pm in our Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building. The lecture will conclude with complimentary blood pressure screenings for attendees.

Fall 2025 Mahjong Classes for Adults

Our 3-part fall Mahjong class will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 19, and December 3rd. (Note: No class the week of Thanksgiving.) Rhonda Greif will return as our instructor, and the classes will take place in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.

Winter Watercolor Landscapes, with Hazel Jarvis

Calling all artists! Hazel Jarvis returns to Perrot Memorial Library on Wednesday, November 5, 1-3 pm, for a watercolor workshop, entitled “Winter Landscapes.” The workshop will be held in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Library. Class size is limited to 14. All materials will be provided. (Note: This class will also take place on Wednesday, October 29, 1-3 pm.)

Library of Things Technology Petting Zoo!

Stop by the Library on Saturday, October 25th, from 10 am to 12 noon, for our Library of Things Technology Petting Zoo! You’ll see all the items we’ve acquired so far and learn about how to check them out for use at home. The Petting Zoo will take place in the basement of the Radcliffe Building (the Children’s Wing).
