This year’s Adult and Teen Summer Reading theme is “Plant a Seed, READ!” Below you’ll find more details, prize information, and the book submittal form for our Adult and Teen Summer Reading programs. Adult
“Plant a Seed, READ!” That’s our theme for this year’s Adult Summer Reading Program. Every time you read a book, you plant a seed—an idea to read more, investigate, think about, and, perhaps, share. We invite you to plant a seed at Perrot this summer by reading something from any genre—fiction, mystery, romance, sci-fi, teen, fantasy, graphic novel—or in any format—print, downloadable e-book, downloadable e-audio book, or Playaway (a pre-downloaded MP3 file loaded on one cassette). The program begins Wednesday, June 24th, and runs through Friday, August 14. Log each book you read/or listen to on either a printed bookmark (available at all our public service desks) or online through our submission form (below). Each title entered is a ticket to win one of our three grand prizes, which will be raffled off on August 17. Read 1 book or 100, it’s up to you, but the more you read, the more chances you have to win.
How to Register
To register, simply fill out a bookmark entry for each title you read and drop it off at our Circulation Desk or in our Book Drop. Or go paper-free and log your books through our website using our submission form. Additional bookmark entry forms will be available at our public service desks.
Grand Prize Drawings
This year, we will raffle off three grand prizes on Monday, August 17. Here are this year’s prizes:
- First Prize: A Family Membership to Greenwich Botanical Center
- Second Prize: Two tickets to Comedy Night at Tod’s Point in September
- Third Prize: A tote filled with new gardening books

To log your books, fill out the Summer Reading Form below (beginning June 24). Remember to refresh your page after each submission when logging multiple titles.
Teen

Get credit for your assigned Summer Reading and win prizes. The program begins Wednesday, June 24th, and runs through Friday, August 14. Log each book you read/or listen to online through our submission form (below). Weekly prizes will be drawn beginning July 10th through August 14th, and the Grand Prize will be drawn on Monday, August 17th.
Please note: Your Perrot Adult or Teen Summer Reading account will be separate from your Greenwich Library Adult or Teen Summer Reading account. You may sign up for both programs and receive prizes from both libraries.
