Greenwich Pen Women and Perrot Memorial Library continue their collaboration with a discussion of Horse, the captivating 2022 novel by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Geraldine Brooks. Greenwich Pen Women Letters member Diane Morello will moderate the discussion on Monday, February 12 — free and open to all — in Perrot’s Rand Room at 7 pm.
We’ll celebrate Valentine’s Day with a film screening of Port of Shadows, a dark romance by French director Marcel Carné, on Saturday, February 10, at 2 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library. In French with English subtitles, the film runs 1 hour and 31 minutes and is not rated. An introduction will be provided by Film Professor Joe Sgammato, MA, MFA. Free admission. Refreshments.
In honor of Black History Month, we’ve invited Jeffrey A. Fletcher, president, The African American Collections, Inc., and executive director, The Ruby and Calvin Fletcher African American History Museum, to give a presentation on African American History on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library, Perrot Memorial Library.
