Book Discussion: The Ministry for the Future, by Kim Stanley Robinson

Perrot Memorial Library and the Greenwich Conservation Commission invite you to a two-part book discussion of “The Ministry for the Future,” by Kim Stanley Robinson, led by Author and Greenwich Pen Woman Heidi Matonis. Part one of the discussion will take place on Monday, March 2, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library, Perrot Memorial Library. Part two will take place on Monday, April 20, at 7 pm, also in the Program Room. This two-part discussion is sponsored by the Perrot Library’s Environmental Book Group.

On Wednesday, February 18, from 1 to 3 pm in our Program Room, join a panel of trusted experts for a practical, easy-to-understand program designed to help you plan ahead for aging and care. Learn from a wills and trusts attorney, senior living advisor, financial and long-term care advisor, and a home care expert as they share clear guidance on legal planning, care options, and financial strategies. The program will take place in our Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library.

Environmental Book Group Discussion: “The Comfort of Crows,” by Margaret Renkl

The Environmental Book Group will meet on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, for a discussion of The Comfort of Crows, by Margaret Renkl. Our discussion will be facilitated by Rebecca Poirier, environmental analyst, Conservation Department, Town of Greenwich. This program is co-sponsored by Perrot Memorial Library and the Conservation Commission.

Blood Pressure 101: Know Your Numbers!

Join registered nurse Marybeth Vergas, RN, for an informative talk on blood pressure, what the numbers mean, why they matter, and how to manage and prevent high blood pressure through everyday habits on Wednesday, February 25, at 7 pm in our Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building. The lecture will conclude with complimentary blood pressure screenings for attendees.
