“Much Ado About Nothing for Kids!”

Perrot Memorial Library and Shakespeare on the Sound present “Much Ado About Nothing for Kids,” a 30-minute interactive version of Shakespeare’s popular comedy appropriate for children in grades K-5. Each child must be accompanied by an adult. The program will take place “on the Green” (the central, green carpeted area in our Youth Services Department), Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.

Music of America Concert

The Perrot Memorial Library and Greenwich Historical Society are excited to present Music of America, an outdoor patriotic concert performed by the New York-based band Regal Brass., on Saturday, May 16th, at 2 pm. With this special performance, the concert will feature classic American favorites including: “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “My Country ’Tis of Thee,” “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “God Bless the USA,” “Shenandoah,” and many more. The concert will take place on the lawn at the Greenwich Historical Society.

Purls of Wisdom: An Evening Knitting Group

Calling knitters experienced and new to the craft! Join us on the second Tuesday of each month for our evening knitting group, “Purls of Wisdom.” Our next session will be held on Tuesday, May 12th, at 6 pm in our Rand Room, Waid Building, Perrot Memorial Library.  Note: This will be the last session until September.

Africa Is Me! An Interactive African Drum and Dance Workshop

The Perrot Memorial Library is thrilled to present “Africa Is Me! An Interactive African Drum & Dance Workshop,” given by Keepers of the Culture Performing Arts Company. The workshop will take place on Sunday, May 3, from 2-3 pm on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library. Adults and families with school-age children are invited to attend.

Greenwich Townscape Collage Session @ Perrot

Join Greenwich Townscape, a giant community photo mural project celebrating America’s 250th. Led by artist Rashmi Talpade, this hands-on initiative invites neighbors of all ages to help create a one-of-a-kind collage using photo prints inspired by the architecture, history, and spirit of our town. Come to cut and glue photos at one collage session – or come to them all! This session will be held in the Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library, on Monday, April 27, 1-2:30 pm.
