Come support our local Greenwich authors on Saturday, September 20, from 11 am to 1 pm on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. This is a drop-in program and a chance for our community to support its many writers. We’ve invited children’s, young adult, and adult authors who will be on hand to sign and sell copies of their latest book.
Classical guitarist Dan Garcia is back for another wonderful evening of Spanish and Latin American music on Wednesday, September 17, at 7 pm, on the Green (the central carpeted area), Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. The concert is a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Perrot Library, in partnership with The Foodshed Forum, is pleased to welcome Franco Fubini, author of “In Seach of the Perfect Peach,” on Tuesday, September 16, at 7 pm in our Program Room.
Author Marsha Temlock will be here on Monday, September 15, at 7 pm, to discuss her latest book, Tuesday’s Mah Jongg Is More Than a Game. The discussion and book signing will take place in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
The September meeting of Perrot P.I.s, our drop-in mystery discussion group, will take place on Thursday, September 11th, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. We’ll discuss “The Ice Princess,” by Camilla Lackberg. All are invited to attend.
Join us on Wednesday, September 10, at 7 pm for a book discussion of The Broken King: A Memoir, with Author and Associate Professor at Hunter College Michael Thomas.
Join us on Monday night, March 16, at 7 pm in the Program Room, Radcliffe Building when the Perrot P.I.s Mystery Book Group discusses “Heartwood,” by Amity Gaige.
We are celebrating National Cocktail Day on Tuesday, March 24th, with a Zoom book discussion with Jennifer Newens, author of Monday Night Mocktails. The program will begin at 7 pm and registration is required.
Join us on Monday, March 9, at 7 pm, for “An Evening of Irish Music,” with Irish-American Fiddler Brian Conway, accompanied by Flynn Cohen on guitar. The concert will be given on the “green” (the central carpeted are) in our Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library.
On Wednesday, October 8, from 1-3 pm, Artist and Teacher Mary Himes will offer a special art workshop, “The Joy of Botanical Printmaking.” The workshop will be held in our Program Room, Radcliffe Building, Perrot Memorial Library. (The workshop will be repeated on Wednesday, October 15, 1-3 pm.)
May is National High Blood Pressure Education Month. Join registered nurse Marybeth Vergas, RN, for an informative talk on blood pressure, what the numbers mean, why they matter, and how to manage and prevent high blood pressure through everyday habits on Wednesday, May 6, at 7 pm in our Program Room, Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Building.
The Monday morning, January 26th, Qigong Class, scheduled for 9:15 am is cancelled due to the impending snowstorm. Donna’s next class will be held on Monday, February 2nd.
