Learn More About Mohegan Tribal Culture and Traditions

November 4 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

November is Native American Heritage Month, and we invite children in grade 3 and up and their parents/caregivers to a presentation on Mohegan Culture, History, and Tradition, given by David Eichelberg, tradition specialist, Mohegan Tribe, on Saturday, November 4, at 2 pm. This program will take place in our Youth Services Program Room, Radcliffe Children’s Library. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Mr. Eichelberg’s presentation will cover the culture, history, traditions, and the way of life of Mohegans and eastern woodland natives in general. He will drum some songs and perform some dances as well.

David is 14 generations removed from the Mohegans’ First Chief, Uncas, who was born in 1598.
