Journaling for Everyone: An Evening With Margot Lee
June 28 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Perrot Memorial Library is pleased to welcome Content Creator, Social Media Influencer, and YouTuber Margot Lee for our 2023 Adult Summer Reading Kickoff program, “Journaling for Everyone: An Evening With Margot Lee,” on Wednesday, June 28, at 7 pm on the green in the Youth Services Department, Radcliffe Children’s Library, Perrot Memorial Library, 90 Sound Beach Avenue, Old Greenwich, CT 06870. Adults and teens are invited to attend. You do not need to be a Greenwich resident to attend.
In keeping with our 2023 Adult Summer Reading theme, “Find Your Voice,” Margot will share her story and insights on the importance of journaling and self-expression. She will provide tips and tricks on how to get started with journaling, and how it can help individuals to better understand themselves and their goals. She will also talk about the journey of launching her own business and share her experiences as an entrepreneur.
Margot Lee is a content creator, social media influencer, and YouTuber from Greenwich, Conn., who has established herself in the lifestyle, fashion, and travel space. As a Riverside native, Margot frequented Perrot Library throughout her childhood and has fond memories of filling up large tote bags with books (often composed of Junie B. Jones and Amelia Bedelia). Margot rose through the Greenwich Public School system, attending Riverside Elementary, Eastern Middle School, and Greenwich High School. While attending GHS, she created a YouTube channel to discuss all things fashion, travel, and lifestyle, and today, that same channel has over 450,000 subscribers.
Margot has recently launched her own journaling business called No Particular Order, which reflects her passion for self-expression and entrepreneurship. Through No Particular Order (also known as NoPO), Margot hopes to encourage others to explore their own creativity and embark on a journey of self-discovery. Copies of Margot’s NoPO journal will be available for sale and signing at the event.
